Verizon is currently rolling out the latest version of Android, Android Marshmallow, to three new devices on their network. Starting today LG G3, LG G4, and HTC One M9 users on The Big Red are eligible for an upgrade to Android 6.0.

For the LG G3 (VS98546A) and LG G4 (VS98624C), this update gives both the same software look (as seen in the gallery below) and of course includes the standard Marshmallow goodies such as Google Now on Tap, Doze, app permissions and more. LG has also added WiFi calling in this update.

For the HTC One M9, this updates brings the device up to Android Marshmallow with software version 3.37.605.7. It includes the same standard Marshmallow additions but it also adds Android Pay for users who haven’t already downloaded it from Google Play.

If you’re using the LG G4, LG G3, or One M9 on Verizon Wireless, an OTA should show up for you within the next day or two.

Just got the Marshmallow upgrade on a Verizon LG G3, and so far not impressed at all. It may as well have bricked the phone.
