Sony’s Xperia X Smartphones Will Be Coming To The United States

    Early this week Sony announced the new Xperia X smartphone lineup, but they were a bit quiet on where the device would launch. However an interview with CNET, Sony’s head of North American marketing confirmed that these new smartphones would indeed make a debut in the United States.

    “We’re committed to coming to the US with these Xperia X phones,” said Don Mesa, head of North American marketing for Sony Mobile, in an interview Monday. “This year represents a new chapter.”

    These devices like won’t ever make a debut on US carriers, especially Verizon or AT&T, but they will likely be sold unlocked from retailers such as Amazon for use on GSM carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, and Cricket.

    Pricing on these devices is unknown, but we do know the specs which are listed below. It’s unconfirmed when they devices will launch in the States.
