VR is only getting bigger every day, and one of the most easily accessible options available today is Samsung’s Gear VR. This smartphone-powered headset costs users just $200, although there have been numerous deals to get one free with the purchase of new Samsung hardware, and provides them with an experience unlike most others.
Sometime soon however, you’ll get another game to immerse yourself within, Minecraft. The ever popular game was already announced to make its way to the Oculus Rift, however Microsoft and Oculus (who has a part in making Gear VR) have today confirmed that the game will eventually make its way to Samsung’s headset.
So far we have no time frame or details on what this release will entail other than “it’s happening”. It is expected and can be assumed that the game will be similar to the one found on the Oculus Rift albeit less graphic intensive considering it will be running off of a smartphone. In the meantime, however, are you excited for this future release? Does it entice you to pick up Samsung’s new Galaxy S7?
