Apple’s Big Bet On Small Phones Pays Off As The iPhone SE Is Sold Out From Several Retailers

When Apple launched their new smaller iPhone SE last month, many were skeptical if the phone would succeed. After all, we’ve seen huge success for larger phones in the past few years and with our needs for out smartphones becoming more and more demanding, a bigger screen just makes sense. Or well, it did. Now just a few days after the SE went on sale to the public, several retailers, including Apple themselves are showing a lack of stock for the device or at the very least, pushing back the shipping dates.

Apple’s retail stores around the country are showing a lack of stock for the device with most orders placed being delayed towards the back half of April. Even Apple’s own website lists the iPhone SE as delayed to April 20th to April 27th, and that’s if you order now. Even carriers such as Verizon and AT&T show delays on their websites. Of course your results may vary depending on the carrier store you visit, but so far things are looking good for the iPhone SE, even though most of us didn’t think it would sell all that well. Guess we were wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
