After taking its time getting to market, HTC is finally getting ready to officially debut the HTC 10, however thanks to a leaked promotional video, we already know what to expect, at least from the outside. We’ve been seeing leaks of the HTC 10 for a few weeks, but this is the best look we’ve had yet at the phone’s design. We’ve got what is obviously an all-metal body in silver, gold, and black.
Along with that we’ve also got the rounded camera module, huge chamfered edges, and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. It’s still unclear if on-screen navigation keys will make yet another return, but we’ll just have to wait and see on that one. USB C is also confirmed within the video with the familiar oval showing up on the bottom of the device. A single speaker is also shown, confirming once and for all that front facing speakers are getting the axe this time around.
On the outside things look good so far, but the internals matter too. Rumor has it that the HTC 10 will pack a 5.2″ QHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and Marshmallow out of the box. We’re also likely looking at a 12MP rear camera with “Ultrapixel” technology for improved low-light capabilities. HTC is set to officially announced their new flagship tomorrow, so we don’t have long to wait to see whether or not all these rumors and leaks are actually real.
