It’s been over two months since Google’s Chromecast was released. Upon release there were only 5 content sources. Netlifx, YouTube, Google Play Music, Google Play Movies, and your browser tab. No other apps have added official support yet. That has now changed. Netlix’s main rival in the streaming world, Hulu, has added support for the Chromecast. To use your Chromecast, you will have to have a Hulu Plus subscription and then all you have to do is hit the “cast” button like in other apps. Google has been trying to get more services like Pandora, Spotify, and more to add official Chromecast support since the device’s release, but Hulu has been the first. HBO stated that they plan to add support in a future update.

Expect this new support to appear in the next Hulu Plus app update on both Android and iOS.
