This time it’s official. Nokia announced this along side it’s new large screen phones and it’s first tablet.  Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom stated that “Our ultimate goal is to bring Instagram to everyone who wants to use it.” While in the past, several third-party developers have filled the lack of the app, officially bringing it to the platform is a big deal. The app is said to come in “the coming weeks”, which could mean as long as it takes them to finish it. It is likely though that Microsoft will be pushing to make this app available as soon as possible.

Instaram isn’t the only app announced to be coming to the platform. Nokia also announced that Vine and Flipboard apps are also in the works and will be available soon as well. No specific time was given for these app unfortunately.
