While Google still hasn’t completely announced the Nexus 5, it is clearly ready for launch. Canadian carrier Wind Mobile has just put up a pre-registration page for the device along with the confirmed specifications of the device.

  • 4.95 1920×1080 display with a pixel density of 445 ppi along with Gorilla Glass 3
  • 8 MP rear camera with OIS
  • 1.3 MP front camera
  • Weight: 130 grams
  • Dimensions: 69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/nc
  • NFC
  • 16/32 GB of internal storage
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • microUSB with SlimPort
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Dual Micr
  • ophones
  • Ceramic power and volume buttons

This confirms almost everything we already expected the device to include along with ceramic buttons which is strange. Unfortunately we also did not see what size the battery will be. We did however receive the welcome news that the long-awaited phone will include OIS. The official measurements also make it thinner than the Nexus 4 while also a little wider and taller. The phone is also just under 10 grams lighter than the Nexus 4.

On a side note, a user on Neogaf  posted pictures of an LG distribution center full of Nexus 5’s just waiting to be shipped. We also see the official box which looks very similar to the 2013 Nexus 7 box.

Release date for the handset is still unknown, but is rumored to be released on November 1st in both Black and White. Stay tuned to our social networks for all news considering the upcoming phone!
