Android 4.4.KitKat is on the horizon along with the long-anticipated Nexus 5. While the OS is not expected to be a major update to Android, it is expected to bring some new functionality and UI changes. While the Android OS update isn’t expected to release until Friday, Google is pushing through updates to over a dozen of their apps. From Gmail to Wallet, updates are apparently rolling out. Reddit user JLishere  brought this fact to our attention saying that he spotted many of the Google apps stating that their last update was October 29th. The updated apps are shown below, so take a look.

Could KitKat be behind these updates, or is Google just trolling us again? I guess we will just have to wait and see.
