Apple’s App Store has always bragged about it’s high quality apps which is great for  users, but makes getting your app approved slightly more difficult. Back in 2012, reports stated that the App Store had received more than 1 million app submissions while the number of apps actually in the store was much lower. Currently more than 1 million apps are live, 413,000 of which are iPad apps. The numbers mean nothing if many of them are low quality apps, but Apple’s quality control has always been pretty good at filtering those out. Keep an eye out for an official announcement from Apple soon.
