Now and then, new rumors pop up about Samsung developing a 12.2 inch tablet. For a while it was thought that the tablet would be announced alongside the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), but that obviously didn’t happen. Now rumors state that the alleged “Galaxy Note Pro” could be announced sometime after CES, but before Mobile World Congress. While it’s probably safe to assume that this is the tablet that we have spotted coming through the FCC and Bluetooth SIG several times, we simply don’t know for sure yet. The tablet’s specs are expected to be similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition sporting a Snapdragon 800 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Display-wise we can probably expect a 2560×1600 12.2 inch screen. On the software side we will most likely be looking at 4.3 or 4.4 out of the box. This all sounds good and the screen size will open up a new space for the tablet market. While I wouldn’t be surprised if this tablet is announced at CES, don’t hold me to it. This tablet might not even be real.
