While Samsung has started to push out the official builds of KitKat for the Note 3, it may still be months until U.S. variants of the phone see the update. But don’t fear, the CyanogenMod team is here to save the day! Today they’ve released the first nightlies for variants of the Note 3. Available now for the International LTE, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile versions of the phone.
While installing CyanogenMod 11 on your Galaxy Note 3 will disable many of the features of the device including the S-Pen, you will get a cleaner and more stock-like experience on your device. If you want to install these nightlies, you should know the drill. If you’ve never put CyanogenMod on a phone, you may want to look up some tutorials on the process since it is just a little bit different for each device.
