Samsung unveiled their new PRO series of tablets this year at CES to approval from many. Unfortunately Samsung never announced when the tablets would be available for purchase or their price point. Leaks earlier this month showed that the tablets would be priced at a premium, starting out around 380 and topping off over 800. It’s unknown whether or not these prices are valid, but if they are it is tough to see the market Samsung is going after with so many other less expensive alternatives on the market. But when are the tablets going to be available? According to an anonymous source, the tablets will launch February 14th, 2014 in the U.S. This date is confirmed by our source who prefers not to be named. Prices are still not known at this point.

This new line also brings an improved tablet interface on top of Android 4.4 KitKat that has received high praise from other reviewers. The PRO lineup includes tablets ranging from an 8.4 inch screen size all the way up to 12.2 inches, including a NotePRO which includes a stylus and most likely will cost a bit more than the TabPRO 12.2. These tablets bring impressive specs with Snapdragon 800 processors, impressive WQXGA (2560 x 1600) displays, optional LTE, and more. The interface on these devices is also designed with multi-tasking in mind and brings a fresh, more pleasant look to Samsung’s TouchWiz skin, something that we hope will carry over to their smartphone lineup.
