Unveiled at CES, Toshiba’s first play in the Chromebook market came to high praise. A good looking device with a Haswell chipset and 2GB of RAM are more than welcome, yet very common, in the Chromebook market, but what sets this one apart is it’s screen.
The typical Chromebook has an 11.6′ screen while some have screens over 14′. Until now, no companies have tried other sizes, but Toshiba is taking the leap by putting a 13.3′ screen on their Chromebook. The price tag on it is also very nice at a measly $279.99.
Starting today you can pick up the device in both the U.S. and U.K. If you live in the States you can get it from Amazon (which you’d better hurry up, they are selling quick) or your local Micro Center for $279.99. In the U.K. you can pick up the device for £249 starting February 10th.
