LG Announces G Pro 2 Ahead Of MWC – Brings Huge Specs And KitKat

MWC is only a few days and LG has several announcements ready to go, but for one of the most highly anticipated, they couldn’t wait to let the cat out of the bag. Today they announced the LG G Pro 2 which packs impressive specs into a 5.9 inch screen.

Think of this phone as LG’s direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The G Pro 2 packs a Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, and last but not least a 5.9 inch, 1080p display. In this beastly phone you also get a 13MP OIS rear camera and 2.1MP front camera, as well as a 3,200 mAH battery.

The phone also brings LG’s rear mounted buttons first seen on the G2 and carried on to the rest of LG’s phones including the G Flex and upcoming G2 Mini

Going back to the camera however you’ll find that LG took a lot of features from Samsung’s Note 3 including 4K recording. These features however are actually improved on thanks to LG’s opt to add OIS to the camera.
