Nokia’s anticipated Android phone is looking to be more and more official now being shown off on a Vietnamese online retailer known as Techrum. The phone’s specifications are listed out as well as a price tag. It’s also notable that it’s name was the Nokia X A110 which we know as the Normandy. In Vietnam the phone will sell between 2.2 and 2.5 million VND which directly translates to around $110 USD. It’s unlikely that would be the price if this phone does land in the States.
The specification list follows:
- Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- Dual-core Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1GHz
- 4″ inch TFT 480×854 display
- GPS support
- 4GB Interal Storage
- 512 MB of RAM
- microSD card slot (up to 32GB)
- WiFi b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 5MP rear camera
It will be interesting to see where Nokia will make this phone available as well as how well it will operate with a mere 512MB of RAM. Android 4.4 KitKat is optimized for devices that only have 512MB of RAM, but has proven not to run as well as hoped for. Nokia also has an interesting custom skin over top of Android as well as a very different button layout.
Stay tuned for more news on the Nokia X A110 (Normandy) as we approach MWC.
