Galaxy S5 Officially Announced – Specs Include 16 MP Camera, Custom Chipset And More
After several leaks and tons of hype, Samsung has finally announced their newest flagship, the Galaxy S5. The new phone brings a familial design but some very nice specifications and software features.
The phone brings a 5.1″ inch, 1080p, AMOLED display. That display is enhanced by software features that adjusts the back lighting and screen contrast settings quite dramatically to suit different usage scenarios.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed which Snapdragon chipset is inside just yet. Hardware changes aren’t too different from the past two Galaxy S phones. What’s new inside the phone other than the slight hardware changes? Samsung has included several new features and some software design changes. The style remains the same but slightly refined.
