We finally have the Galaxy S5 but it underwhelmed many people. We didn’t get the 2K display we all thought we’d get or the metal body. Fortunately there’s a chance both will happen. Now we are hearing reports that Samsung is planning to release an all metal variant of the S5 named the Galaxy F.

Rumors state that Samsung may launch the all-metal variant as soon as May of this year. While I’d take the launch date with a grain of salt, it is completely possible that Samsung could release a premium version of the S5 which could include an all metal body, optical image stabilization in the camera, and even a 64-bit Exynos chip inside. Since it’s rumored that the regular S5 will be priced lower than the S4 was at launch, this gives more credibility to the rumor of a high-end model.

What do you think? Will Samsung release a higher end variant of the S5? Let us know in the comments.
