The much anticipated iOS 8 is coming up soon and so are some new features along with it. One major new feature is the health app named HealthBook. This article focuses on the new images that just came out, giving us a new idea about looks and new expectations. So get your running shoes and jogging pants on and get ready for the rundown.
Take a look at the images below.
The images give you a sense of Deja Vu, don’t they? That’s because the images from the app HealthBook native to iOS 8 are very similar to the color scheme we already have in iOS 7. In fact, the app is centered around the passbook app, using the tabs to keep things in order and deliver much needed information about our conditions. To keep things easy to find each tab is colored differently to insure lack of confusion.
This app is supposed to be very convenient for the average human being trying to stay active. Whether you want to lose weight or just stay as healthy as possible, the HealthBook app is in-depth and centered on that very purpose. For everything we are told to keep under control by most doctors, this app really focuses on just those things. It can keep our vitals in check such as bloodwork, heart rate, hydration, blood sugar, oxygen saturation, and weight.
Even though the app is very detailed and offers a lot, how will the iPhone get the information it needs? Ideas are going around saying that apple might be including things like heart rate monitors, much like the Samsung Galaxy S5. Another way of getting this information (and more likely) is through the possible iWatch. The iWatch is supposed to centered around fitness as well. The iWatch could deliver this information to the iPhone and set up data and graphs to let you know where you stand when it comes to weight loss, activity, sleeping schedules, and possibly blood pressure.
If the iWatch isn’t the means of data, such devices not developed by Apple could measure these vitals and report back to HealthBook. Third-party devices like the Wello Case could be just the thing Apple needs to complete this project.
