After the news that Android was expanding to wearables, Motorola quickly pulled the lid off their own smartwatch, the Moto 360.
Motorola’s all new smartwatch performs all the actions we expect from Android Wear that we saw at it’s announcement today. The most notable part of the watch is the elegance “at a glance”.
The watch has a familiar design that’s comfortable and easy to use. To see all news that’s most important to you, all you need to do is flick your wrist. The watch also responds to “OK, Google”, similar to the Moto X, and gives you new appointment notifications or sends a hangout message through voice recognition. All this is done without distracting you from your daily activities.
Motorola hopes to bring wearables to a new level with this device in a classy way. The hardware on this device definitely screams premium. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come with a premium price tag.
Moto 360 will be available in several styles and colors in the summer of 2014 starting in the United States.
