If you’re an iPhone user you’ve probably heard of Apple’s iBeacon. The service allows businesses and locations to detect nearby iOS devices and give those customers relevant information. But now, one app is trying to bring that to the classroom to forever change the way teachers take attendance.
We all remember those days in school saying “Here!”. Now in the age of smartphones, attendance can be taken to a new level and a new app called BeHere looks to do exactly that. The app allows users to not only take attendance in the classroom, but also brings many other features for teachers and students alike. For instance, if a student needs help, they simply tap a button within the app and the teacher is notified. This app truly paves the way for the next version of the classroom. Does it interest you? Would you use it if you were a teacher? Let us know in the comments.
