While the Chromecast has been evolving more and more since it’s SDK has opened, now it’s getting one of it’s most important apps yet. We’ve had the ability to cast Netflix and Hulu since the beginning, and casting locally stored media came a little later on, but now we are finally getting the ability to cast live TV.

Aereo, the service that let’s customers watch over-the-air TV through their browser, is now coming to our favorite $35 streaming dongle. Aereo works by using a small antenna the captues signals for storage on a remote server. That means that you can watch any over-the-air TV basically anywhere you can use a Chromecast. Aereo will officially come to Chromecast on May 29th.
