Google Releases Google Camera App To Play Store

Google Releases Google Camera App To Play Store

After plenty of rumors of a redesign Google has finally done it, and at the same time they’ve released it to Google Play! Dubbed the Google Camera, this new camera app brings along a completely redesigned interface from the current Stock Camera app found on Nexus devices and even adds a couple new features.

The redesign simplifies the interface and makes it much easier to find settings. The app overall just has a much better feel to it while retaining the features that made it unique like Photo Sphere. Panorama, Photo Sphere, Photo, and Video are the features carried over from the previous version of the app and a brand new feature is added in by way of Lens Blur. Lens Blur mode brings “SLR-like photos” with a shallow depth of field.

Google Camera is available on devices running Android 4.4 and above. If you have a Nexus device you should have it installed already so be sure to check your updates!
