The iPad Air was the thinnest full sized iPad to date, and it seem like it would be hard to top. New leaks however show us that Apple may be using an integrated display in the front panel. This would leave the company just a little more room for additional components or just to make the device thinner than it already is. Currently iPads and many other smartphones and tablets are built with a display panel underneath a layer of glass. An integrated display means that the display is built directly into the glass and thus saves space.

There is no definite way to prove that this leaked panel is from the next iPad Air, but sources indicate that these are real. The next generation iPad is expected to release sometime inn Q3 of this year.
