After almost two years since it’s release, Samsung is still supporting the Galaxy S3, and today they’re rolling out the KitKat update to the device. Sprint is the first one rolling out the update (while Verizon takes it’s sweet time) to it’s GS3 customers.

Sprint’s changelog for the update states nothing other than Android 4.4 KitKat. This of course brings features seen in KitKat such as the transparent status bar, built in printing support, and several others. It should also improve battery life and stability of the device. Keep an eye out if you are carrying a Sprint GS3!

No other carriers have announced their updates as of now.
