Early last month we heard that the next Moto X would be called the “Moto X+1“. After having a double take on the name, we slowly started learning new details about the device through new leaks including that leather backs would be optional this time. Now that name is being confirmed by none other than Motorola, even though they didn’t mean to do it.
When changing a character in the address bar in MotoMaker, you can view a page that shows off the name Moto X+1 in place of the Moto X name. To gain access to this page and see it for yourself, hit up the source link at the bottom of this page. This page also reveals that wood backs would make a return this year and that it will still cost extra.
Based on the fact that this page exsists, it’s likely that the Moto X+1 is waiting right around the corner. It’s becoming much more likely that the Moto X+1 is what the company has in store for their event on May 13th.
