After releasing the Moto E, the ultimate budget device, Motorola announced the Moto G LTE edition. This new variant of the Moto G came with not only 4G LTE connectivity, but also a microSD card slot. However they didn’t stop there. Motorola also revealed another variant of the Moto G but only in Mexico.

This new edition is the Moto G Ferrari Edition. It isn’t everyday that you see an exotic car mixed with a budget phone, but that didn’t stop this product from happening. While phone does have two Ferrari logos on it at the front and back, it’s not the only thing different. We also see 4G LTE connectivity, 16GB of on-board storage, a microSD card slot, and a beautiful red and black design. But the changes don’t stop there. We also have a Kevlar back on the device similar to what we saw a few years ago with some of Motorola’s DROID handsets.

Internal specs are still the same with the Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.5″ inch 720p display, and 5MP camera. However this variant is priced remarkably high compared to it’s siblings coming in at a staggering 4,999 pesos. That is equal to slightly over $385 USD, a near $200 price increase over the base Moto G and well over $100 more than the current LTE model.

Motorola has not stated if this edition of the device will be up for sale in other markets.
