Google Search Can Now Use A Proper Timer For Commands – Your OCD Can Now Rest Peacefully

Google Now is a powerful tool, but it isn’t without it’s flaws. One of which was the way it handled timers. Previously if you used the voice control functions of the app and said “set a timer for 30 minutes”, the app would rather set an alarm for 30 minutes into the future. While it did work just fine, it’s almost like Google forgot that most, if not all, clock applications on Android have built-in timers.

While it’s not guaranteed to work on all OEM skins, it has been reported to work on HTC Sense and I’ve been able to use it on the LG G2 and LG G Pad 8.3.
