When Motorola announced the Moto X last year, they showed off the wood backs (which took a few months to come after launch) including Walnut, Ebony, Teak, Bamboo, and Rosewood. While the latter have been available a while, Rosewood has taken it’s sweet time to come to MotoMaker. Now that option is available in MotoMaker and appears to have replaced Walnut. A Rosewood back still costs $25 extra just like the other wood back options.
Along with this news, it seems Motorola is also about to open up a 64GB option for the Moto X for those who need more storage. Since the Moto X does not have expandable storage, this may be a great option for those who store a lot of music and photos on their device.
Keep in mind that these two options come towards the end of the Moto X’s life cycle since the device is due to be obsolete come August with the Moto X+1.
