KitKat 4.4.2 is finally rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. The build name of the update is I9295XXUCNE5 and it comes with a couple new features for the device. It’s showcasing the white status bar icons, new wireless printing capabilities, a lock screen camera shortcut, and full screen album art. Of course, this isn’t everything that the update comes with.
Unfortunately, the update might not be out for you yet because it’s kind of new for these users. If you want to check it out yourselves, go to Settings > More > About device > Software update > Update. If you don’t want to wait any longer than the run of the mill user, you can get the firmware download here. Of course, we only recommend this to you if you are familiar with Android and how it runs. So if you do know what you are doing, go ahead and check it out.
Be sure to let us know if the update is working out for you if you own a Galaxy S4 Active! We want to know in your feedback. Enjoy the update.
