Nintendo has finally agreed to start a program with YouTube content creators to showcase their items and advertise their new releases. In the Nintendo of Japan Twitter feed, they have mentioned that they want to share earnings with these creators that make approved videos of games by Nintendo. Any other details about the program are unknown.
We are waiting to see how this will go for Nintendo and how it might help them gain some ground in their production. With Mario Kart 8 coming out, we would hope that this program coincides with it’s release to better the reputation of Nintendo. Mario Kart 8 also has a YouTube upload feature built-in to the game anyways, which might mean that Nintendo has been thinking about this for a good while now.
