Android 4.4.2 Headed To Galaxy Note 2 On US Cellular

KitKat has been making it’s way on to a lot of devices lately, that included all variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. So far we have seen KitKat come to the Sprint variant and the Verizon variant, now it looks like the US Cellular variant is next in line. This morning US Cellular updated it’s support page for the Galaxy Note 2 to let it’s customers know that the device would soon be receiving an update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Besides the obvious improvements and changes that come along with KitKat we don’t really know what changes Samsung themselves will include in the update. But due to Samsung’s heavily customized TouchWiz layered over Android you won’t see much of the changes that come with KitKat besides the white notifications icons. What you will get is a more stable and secure version of Android running on your Galaxy Note 2 which is always welcome.
