It was a bit surprising (although it really shouldn’t have been) when Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 with such a minor bump from last year’s Galaxy S4. Many people were very dissapointed that the device would carry only a 1080p display and would only be a little larger than last year’s. Most were expecting Samsung to race to the first wide-released 2K display, but they didn’t. At least, not at launch.
