Wave Wave Review – The Most Irritating Game I Can’t Stop Playing

I’m not much of a gamer, but every once in a while a new game comes along that I love playing, and it hasn’t taken me long to get addicted to Wave Wave. This new game brings fun graphics, interesting gameplay, and an awesome soundtrack all into one seizure inducing app.

I’m actually not kidding about that. You need to be careful with this game. It may not include a warning for seizures, but it really should. The bright colors that constantly flash on screen can easily cause problems. However if you can stand it, I still highly recommend this game. It’s shockingly fun, as long as you don’t have a temper.

In the game you need to move down a straight line and avoid large triangles blocking your way. How do you do this? Holding down on the screen of your device moves you (yes you are the line) up and letting go makes you go down. Sounds easy enough right? Think again. This game sends you moving seemingly as hyperspeed through a constantly changing environment. Not only do the triangles differ in position and size as you move forward, but the entire orientation of the “hallway” changes every few seconds. Luckily, you likely won’t last more than 15 seconds anyway. If you thought Super Hexagon, Flappy Bird or even Iron Pants were hard, this is their demented cousin. If you want to involve someone else, there’s even multiplayer available.

The game costs $2 on Google Play and $3 on iTunes. Luckily there are no in-app purchases as well. Definitely check it out if you need a new way to kill your time and break another phone.
