The LTE Chromebook Pixel has been a hot topic the past week and the challenge it’s been facing with Verizon. The nearly $1,500 computer comes with 2 years of free data from Verizon Wireless which can be activated by the customer. However Verizon was reportedly cutting off customers taking advantage of this free data only a year into the promotion.
“We do understand that a very small number of Chromebook Pixel customers may have had a promo end prematurely, We apologize for this, and will work with these customers to address the situation.”
This comes after Google began issuing $150 gift cards to affected users. So overall this seems like a win to anyone who was affected.
