Windows Phone 8.1 is an evolving platforms that is slowly becoming more and more popular as it gets better and better. Windows Phone 8.1 saw a huge update to the OS which brought many features that it sorely needed. However since developer support is still so hard to come by, it’s tough for a customer to choose a Windows Phone handset. However Microsoft continues to push the platform and continues to make it better and better. The company has always stuck to it’s guns on it’s Metro UI, but that may soon change, at least a little bit.
A support article from Microsoft’s website (since removed) revealed that the company would soon bring native support for folders on the home screen. This would be a great addition to the platform and has even already been added by some developers and even Nokia themselves. In the support article mentioned that this would be coming through an update to Windows Phone 8.1. Would you like this new functionality?
