Tonight Google opened up access to the official Android Wear app that allows us to connect our Android Wear devices and use them. This app has been open to Google I/O 2014 attendees through a beta program for about a week but not to the public until tonight. However not many of us will be able to make use of it anyway as no Android Wear devices have shipped yet. However this app is available now and will soon allow users to connect their Android Wear devices to their smartphones. But what’s a new devices without apps? Well Google has that covered too.
Not many developers have optimized their apps for Android Wear, but Google has worked with a few fairly big names in order to bring a few apps to the new platform. These include apps like Eat24, Hangouts, Google Maps, Pinterest, IFTTT, and many more. You can check them all out on the Google Play page linked below.
