HTC has had a struggle the past couple of years with the heavy competition from Samsung, Apple, and more. This has caused them to see losses in past reports. However with the success of their latest flagship, the HTC One M8, the company has seen profits again. HTC’s numbers aren’t as impressive as other OEMs like Apple and Samsung, but the company is at the least no longer losing money. They were able to, just barely, meet their Q2 goal of NT$65-70 billion. As stated earlier, this is likely due to the fact that the company has released phones including the HTC One M8, HTC One Mini 2, and the new Desire lineup during Q2.
