The $35 Chromecast streaming device has come a long way since its release, but today it’s taking its biggest step forward yet, screen mirroring. Google officially announced today that the Chromecast app for Android would be updated to allow users to cast their screen to their Chromecast connected TV.

This functionality only works on a select handful of devices including most newer Nexus device and a few Samsung, HTC, and LG handsets. More will come in the near future. To initiate a cast, open the Chromecast app and hit cast screen. On Nexus devices though, a short cut will be found in the quick settings.

The update is rolling out now and should be available soon.
