NVIDIA Shield Tablet Now Official – Powered By K1 – Priced At $299

Last week we saw our first look at NVIDIA’s rumored SHIELD tablet from Evleaks. Today though, NVIDIA is making it official announcing the tablet fully. The tablet packs a strong punch and the added controller only makes things better. The SHIELD family now contains the SHIELD Tablet, SHIELD Controller, and last year’s SHIELD, now known as the SHIELD Portable.

The SHIELD tablet uses an 8-inch display powered by a Tegra K1 processor and massive dual front-facing speakers to create an immersive gaming experience.
