Amazon’s Kindle Fire line launched the small tablet market into what it is today. Their tablets are low cost yet still provide a decent experience. Last year’s Kindle Fire HDX brought along the powerful Snapdragon 800 along with a 1080p display which was by no means disappointing. This time though Amazon looks like they want to outdo the rest of the market with their HDX lineup.
A leaked AnTuTu benchmark might just be bringing the specifications list for the new tablets and I’m impressed. Powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor, something we don’t see often, 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 420 GPU, this tablet will be no slouch. This is all powering Android 4.4.4 and an 8.9″ inch display with a 2560×1600 resolution. That’s Quad-HD just like what we’ve seen on the LG G3. An 8MP camera is found along with a 1MP camera. Of course this tablet with come with Amazon’s Fire OS. A 7″ inch variant is also expected. No release date has been mention yet, but this tablet looks promising.
