Cortana To Make The Trip From Windows Phone To The Desktop In Windows 9

Cortana has been the most well received, and possibly most needed features in the Windows Phone 8.1 update. The voice assistant gets the job done well and has been as well reviewed if not better reviewed than Google Now and Siri. We’ve been wondering if it would jump between platforms, and we even heard rumors of it making the trip to Android and iOS, but it seems it’s taking a more logical route in heading to Windows 9.

Neowin is reporting that Cortana is appearing in early builds of Windows 9 and is even headed towards the stable release. At the moment, Cortana lacks deep system integration and actually works in a window like any other apps. Will you use Cortana on Windows 9? Have you already tried it on Windows Phone? Let us know your thoughts on Cortana in the comments below.
