After plenty of leaks and rumors, HTC has made it official. There is now a variant of the HTC One M8 for Windows Phone. The device brings the same design and specifications, but with Windows Phone 8.1.1 on board out of the box instead of Android. In case you’ve forgotten those specifications, here’s a quick rundown.

  • Snapdragon 801 Processor – 2.3GHz
  • 5.0″ Inch FHD Display – 1920×1080
  • 2GB RAM
  • 32GB Internal Storage (microSD up to 128GB)
  • 2,600 mAh Battery
  • Ultrapixel Duo Camera
  • Dual Front Facing Speakers

This device is an exclusive for Verizon, and they are making it available today. In fact, at the time of publishing this article, the device will be available in about an hour on Verizon’s website. Buyers can also get it in store tomorrow. The device costs only $99 with a contract on Verizon which is a great price for the phone.

The phone still brings some of HTC’s best features, including Blinkfeed and the Dot View case. Microsoft also showed off an exclusive Xbox Dot View case for the phone. Cortana also works with the Dot View case which is a huge plus. Availability outside of Verizon’s network has not been announced, but I wouldn’t be shocked if we didn’t see any.

You will be able to pre-order the device at 12pm EST from Verizon at the link here.
