IFA teasing is in full swing, and HTC is joining the party today by teasing an upcoming smartphone that could be revealed at IFA. The teaser is in Chinese and actually lists off a few HTC milestones from its first Android phone to it’s first 1080p display and more. But now, the company is making room on that list for something new, it’s first 8 core 64-bit device.
The teaser on the device shows a two color design along with the front facing camera and a small glimpse at the speaker. The speaker looks identical to that found on the current HTC Desire lineup. While a 64 bit chip on a smartphone isn’t new, an octa-core version is. It’s unknown who is making the chip, but it’s likely that it will be Qualcomm. HTC does have an event scheduled for IFA this year so it’s possible that they will show off the device there.
