Android Wear is still in it’s infancy, and almost every owner of an Android Wear device will agree with that. The software still has plenty of bugs and lacking features, but it’s definitely on the right track. However, a new source familiar with Android Police is claiming that Google will release Android Wear 2.0 on October 15th.

It’s unknown what Android Wear 2.0 will contain, but some guess would be support for NFC, GPS, and perhaps Bluetooth headphones. This times closely with the releases of several new Android Wear devices including the Moto 360, LG G Watch R, ASUS ZenWatch, and Sony Smartwatch 3. Hopefully the update will contain some major fixes to some problems with Wear.
