Sony and Samsung are the big names at IFA 2014, but Huawei just announced their latest device, and it’s equally impressive. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is the company’s latest flagship and is quite an impressive handset. The device packs a 6-inch, 1080p display in a slimmer 7.9mm, metal body. The device is 95% metal and has the best screen-to-size ratio on the market of 85%.
The Ascend Mate 7 is powered by an Octa-Core processor and should provide a great software experience thanks in part to the EMUI 3.0 interface. The full specifications for the Ascend Mate 7 are below.

The spec list is about what we have come to expect recently, but one really stands out. The battery capacity. At 4,100 mAh, this phone has more battery capacity that most 7″ inch tablets. That should easily provide for 2 or more days of battery. A fingerprint scanner is found on the back for unlocked the device. The device has been announced for about 30 countries worldwide including China, the UK, Germany and more. Prices are expect to hover around 499 Euros. It’s unclear if this device will debut in the US.
