Super Smash Bros. For 3DS Demo Incoming This Friday

With the release of the Japanese version and it’s impending release on this side of the world, many are eagerly anticipating Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Streamers on Twitch like Smooth McGroove and The JWittz have been playing the Japanese version for those who want to get a closer look, but this Friday anyone who has a 3DS can get some hands-on action.

Announced during Friday’s Nintendo Treehouse livestream is the availability of the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo. Select Club Nintendo Platinum members should be receiving codes in advance, but the demo will be available to the public on Friday, September 19th. the demo features Mario, Link, Pikachu, Villager, and Megaman along with the Battlefield stage.

As for what time it launches on Friday, we’re not certain. In that case be sure to look out for it and make the most of your 30 demo tries. Super Smash Bros. for 3DS comes out on October 3rd in North America. If you’re still on the fence about the game, keep a look out for our review following the game’s release for my impressions.
