Last month HP unveiled their second generation HP 14 Chromebook with a smaller, thinner body, and a Tegra K1 processor inside. This is a departure from the previous Intel Haswell chip, and should provide a much more power-efficient. If you don’t opt for a touch screen, you will be looking at a 1366×768 resolution on a 14.1″ inch display. A touch screen model is also available with a 1080p display.

Pricing in the US starts at $299 for 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and goes up to $429 for 4GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 1080p touch screen display. Currently 4 models are available for pre-order in the US. In the UK only one model is up for pre-order at £229 with 2GB of RAM and a 16GB SSD. Will you be picking up this machine?
