Qi wireless charging is one of my favorite features in any device it’s found on. I had it on my Verizon LG G2 and my 2013 Nexus 7 and really enjoyed it. It’s extremely nice to be able to charge up my device just by putting it down on a charging pad. While some devices like the Nexus 6 have Qi charging built in, but most unfortunately do not, especially in the United States.
The international LG G3 has built in Qi wireless charging built in, but unfortunately US variants do not. That doesn’t mean you can’t get it however. With the use of a simple back cover you can get Qi charging on your LG G3. Note: This is only for the Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint variants of the LG G3. The AT&T variant uses the PMA wireless charging standard.
Below are links to purchase Qi-enabled charging backs for the LG G3. To use them simply take off the battery door you are currently using and swap it for the new one.
