Steel Apple Watch Rumored To Cost $500 – Luxury Gold Edition To Cost $5,000

Smartwatches are definitely not a necessary accessory for everyone. We can easily live without them. They are mainly meant for those who have the means to spend a bit extra to enhance their smartphone experience. Apple has finally gotten on the smartwatch train with the Apple Watch and they are definitely aiming for those with more means than most.

According to new leaked information the Apple Watch in it’s stainless steel edition could cost as much as $500. Apple already confirmed that the base model would be $350 which is already a bit more than most are willing to pay. However if $500 seems pricey, you haven’t seen anything yet.

The gold edition of the Apple Watch, the highest end model, could be priced between $4,000 and $5,000. If that wasn’t bad enough, these prices reportedly only cover the watch itself. Bands and other accessories are sold separately. There are rumors going around that the Apple Watch will launch in mid-February, but for now there’s no confirmation.
